20+ Cutters. 20+ Years. One Standard: Keeping Railcars Moving.

At Trans-Tech, our job is pretty simple: make sure our customers get the decals they need, when they need them.

That takes more than just good vinyl. It takes equipment that can keep up with the volume, consistency to get the same result every time, and a team that understands how important every decal can be to keeping a railcar moving.

That’s why we’ve relied on Summa vinyl cutters for more than 20 years. Today, we have more than 20 Summa cutters running in our production facility, helping us produce hundreds of thousands of decals every year.

Consistency Matters

When you’re producing railcar decals at this volume, there’s not much room for inconsistency. Whether a decal is produced on a machine we’ve had for years or one of our newer cutters, we expect the same sharp cuts and clean results.

That consistency helps our team move quickly without sacrificing quality — especially when a customer needs an order turned around fast.

Recently, Summa visited Trans-Tech to take a closer look at our operation and how we’ve built our production process around speed, consistency, and reliability. They featured Trans-Tech in a customer case study highlighting our 20+ years of experience with their equipment.

We’re proud of the relationship we’ve built with Summa, but we’re even more proud of what that equipment allows us to do for our customers: get accurate railcar decals out the door and keep things moving.
